In 2018, to commemorate a landmark completion of 100 ABO incompatible transplantations, the ISN East Zone Society and Narayana Hrudalaya Hospitals put together the Kolkata Transplant Colloquium, a fitting academic event peppered with intellectual and muscial festivities.

Every year, since then nephrologists and transplant physicians from national and international forums have gathered together for a short memorable academic winterfest in the City of Joy. Under the auspices of the two organizations, the Kolkata Transplant Colloquium has been going strong and continues to do so, with a laudable gathering of international speakers and panelists and cultural doyens like Devdutt pattanaik and Usha Uthap.
