Welcome

Message

We take immense pleasure in inviting you to the 6th Kolkata Transplant Colloquium, to be held on the 10th and 11th of January, 2026, at the Taj Bengal, Kolkata.

This year’s Colloquium is devoted exclusively to one of the most transformative and fast evolving areas of renal transplantation — ABO incompatible kidney transplantation.

The growing possibilities have redefined transplantation across blood group barriers. The 2026 Colloquium will focus on every critical aspect of this evolving domain — from immunological foundations and desensitization strategies to clinical outcomes and long-term follow-up.

In a pursuit of understanding the spectrum of ABO incompatible kidney transplantation, we are privileged to welcome a distinguished faculty comprising of world-renowned transplant physicians and researchers, each recognized internationally for their pioneering work and extensive experience in ABO incompatible transplantation. This makes the KTC 2026, a definitive symposium on ABO incompatible kidney transplantation, offering unparalleled opportunities for academic enrichment and professional exchange.

The scientific sessions will be complemented by an evening of music and camaraderie, with performance from the acclaimed Sufi artist Kailash Kher, promising a memorable blend of learning and leisure.

In January, Kolkata welcomes you with crisp, refreshing air and golden winter sunshine. The city comes alive with blooming flowers, cultural festivals, and the warmth of its people.

We look forward to hosting you in the City of Joy – Kolkata, for an inspiring and unforgettable experience at the 6th Kolkata Transplant Colloquium 2026.
